About Leah Harding?
Leah Harding is an Emmy-nominated journalist and senior producer at Al Jazeera English in Doha, Qatar. She speaks Arabic and covers international politics from protests in Cameroon to the unexpected Gulf diplomatic crisis. Formerly, Leah was a presenter on Al Jazeera’s first interactive newshour #AJNewsGrid.
Leah has reported from four continents and was the first international correspondent to go live in Ethiopia during the 2019 attempted coup. She has also reported from Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. In the United States, Leah covered state, county, and city projects promising nearly 2,000 homeless people in north Florida food, shelter, and healthcare services.
Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Leah is an avid traveler. She has visited nearly 60 countries and has lived in Jordan, Ethiopia, Kenya, New Zealand, and Qatar.
